Accolades

Receiving recognition for our hard work and success validates the efforts of our employees and contractors without whom none of Alexander's achievements would be possible. We are honored to receive awards for both quality and performance excellence.

Hauling Excellence Award
Earning this award requires an agent to haul a minimum of $500,000 in linehaul while achieving a top rating from its customers on Atlas’ Operations Excellence Questionnaire. In 2004, all eight Alexander's offices received this distinction.

Milton M. Hill Quality Award
Alexander’s offices have consistently earned Atlas’ highest quality award since its inception in 1996. During the most recent year, eight Alexander’s offices were honored with this distinction.

Recipients of the Milton M. Hill Quality Award must meet or exceed Atlas standards in all quality criteria, from customer satisfaction ratings and weight estimating accuracy to claims ratios, safety points and warehouse ratings. While Atlas recognizes outstanding achievement, this award is reserved for those select few that genuinely rank as the best of the best.

Top Revenue-Producing and Hauling Multi-Agency
Earning recognition as Atlas' largest multi-agency while maintaining the outstanding quality required to earn the Milton M. Hill Quality Award is a point of pride for Alexander's. In 2005, Alexander's eight offices produced more revenue and hauled more shipments that any other multi-agency among Atlas' more than four hundred domestic agents.


Superior Packing Award
In 2004, every Alexander’s office received this award. To do so, each one had to meet a certain minimum in packing revenue during the year while maintaining a packing claim ratio of 1.83 or less. (The claim ratio is calculated by comparing the dollars of packing claims against the total dollars of packing revenue earned during the year.)

Dear Mr. Honza (general manager - Minneapolis office),

I am writing this letter of commendation for three of your most wonderful employees: Mike Hanson, Theo Hutton and Rewis Williams. I have never worked with such exceptional men and therefore felt compelled to tell you how very fortunate we were to have them with us during our office remodel.

Those three young men are true professionals. They were intelligent in their decision-making. They were thoughtful and respectful of not only our surroundings and beongings, but of the agents and staff and each other. They were neat and orderly in every move they made. One of the agents actually referred to them as "the magic men" and I think that is a very appropriate description! There seemed to be nothing they couldn't do and do effortlessly and with dignity. The pride they took in their work was obvious...

Regarding Alexander's Driver, Robert Minch
I just wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation to your driver, Robert Minch. His willingness to accommodate our employee during a very awkward time was truly outstanding.

As a former relocation industry person, I understand the level of service Mr. Minch provided. Having spent seven years around drivers, I applaud his ability to maintain his professionalism in a trying environment.
