Hayward, CA — Alexander’s Mobility Services is proud to announce the addition of Leslie Batsford to its Hayward, California sales team.
Leslie Batsford has joined the Alexander’s sales team to expand household goods national account business in Northern California, focusing on clients in the Silicon Valley and San Francisco Bay areas. While Leslie is new to the moving and storage industry, she brings nearly 20 years of experience selling corporate housing in the San Francisco Bay area and a unique perspective into the needs of relocating employees.
Leslie is transitioning from a premier global corporate housing company specializing in high-end temporary housing where she earned several awards for sales achievement and developed innovative housing solutions to meet the needs of some of Silicon Valley’s most recognized companies. Prior to that role, Leslie worked with another leading corporate housing company headquartered in Los Angeles, CA where she sold corporate housing. As she gained more recognition for her outstanding performance, Leslie became a certified mentor for new and current sales professionals in addition to developing business.
With a perspective on corporate relocation that is distinctive among Alexander’s sales team, Leslie brings a strongly customer-oriented, consultative approach to the way she approaches clients. She emphasizes respect, both for her clients and for their time, establishing realistic expectations, and remaining responsive to their needs as they change. With a business style that relies heavily on supporting and educating new clients, whether they are a small start-up or an international powerhouse Leslie does whatever it takes and more to meet their needs.
In her previous roles Leslie embodied the “Whatever It Takes” mentality for which Alexander’s employees are known, by developing and implementing new services to meet her clients’ unique needs, even collaborating with her competitors in a highly competitive market to ensure her clients received the care they deserved.
A former board member and chairperson for Bay Area Mobility Management (BAMM)-- a non-profit, charitable human resources organization focusing on education, networking and leadership for professionals in the mobility industry—Leslie not only gains clients, but creates more educated consumers with every appointment. “I have a passion for what I do… I like to find unique solutions that meet [clients’ individual] needs, not just hand them a stack of brochures and call it a day.”
